The Rangeview High School Marching Raiders not only represent the instrumental music program, they represent
the entirety of the school and community. The Marching Raiders are a competitive group that will compete at Colorado
Bandmasters Association (CBA) Events around the state of Colorado. Participation in the Marching Raiders Marching
Band is open to any RHS student grade 9-12. In order to be a member of the Marching Raiders, students must be
enrolled in an instrumental course, with the exception of color guard members who do not play an instrument.
Members of the Marching Raiders Marching Band will be expected to pay a $100 fee to cover payments for travel, food,
staff, and equipment. Beyond the fee, students will be expected to pay for their marching shoes which are $25 for band
members and color guard members, unless students already own their own that can be used for every year there are in
the Marching Band. All fees are payable to to Jill Watkins at the Bookkeeping Window.
The Rangeview High School Marching Raiders will perform at all home football games. It is expected that the ensemble
performs for pre-game, half-time and during the game in the stands.
The Raiders Marching Band will be in full uniform for all pre-game and half-time performances. Performers may
remove their jackets (bibbers and Marching t-shirt) while performing in the stands.
The Rangeview Marching Raiders will compete against other 5A schools from around the state. These event provide
students with the opportunity to perform for a large audience, see other marching bands from around the state, and
